INGREDIENTS
Black Rice Uthappam Premix - 2 cups
Curd - 1/4cup
Water - 1 cup
Baking soda - 1/4th tsp
Onion finely chopped - 2
Green chilly finely chopped - 1
Green coriander finely chopped - 2 tbsp
Oil - For roasting
Recipe (How to cook)
1. In a large mixing bowl take 2cups of Earthaholic Black Rice Uthappam Premix
2. Add 1/4th cup of curd and 1 cup of water to it and mix well
3. Add 1/4th tsp of baking soda to it and mix well to make lump free smooth batter
4. Add the water for adjusting consistency if required
5. On hot Tawa pour a ladle full of batter and onion
6. Press the onion gently on the batter
7. Add oil to the sides and cook on medium flame
8. Flip the Uthappam add oil and cook
9. Serve with Sambar and your choice of chutney
NOTE : YOU CAN FERMENT THE BATTER OVERNIGHT IF YOU WANT TO SKIP SODA
